Primary Care Services

There are a range of services that are available to everyone to help manage their health. These are called 'universal' services and include GPs, dentists, pharmacists, opticians and walk-in centres as well as health visitors and school nurses.  Most NHS health services do not charge patients however opticians and dentists are only free to children up to age 16 or 19 if in full time education (and adults meeting eligibility criteria)
