Newham Music Summer Project - "Musical in a Week" - Expression of Interest

This August, Newham Music is delighted to be partnering with Half Moon Theatre to present a five day music and drama workshop for young people with physical, sensory and/or cognitive disabilities. With the assistance of highly skilled Newham Music and Half Moon drama facilitators, the young people will produce a piece a collaborative theatre in just five days, a 'Musical in a week'.

The week includes:

• Story Crafting
• Music Making
• Movement and Dance
• Direction and performance

Dates and Times: 16th-20th August, 10am-4pm. Drop ins allowed.

Location: Stratford Youth Zone, Theatre Square, London E15 1BX

The venue is accessible, with step free access and toilets. However, we want to ensure all participants the best experience possible, so contact us to share your needs and we will work together.

The project is open to young people aged 14+ with physical, sensory and/or cognitive
disabilities, and their carers.

Participation in the week is COMPLETELY FREE.

Please note that a small filming crew from Catalyst in Communities will be present. We will share a Permission Form separately.
