Speech and Language Therapy
Newham Children Speech and Language Therapy service is a specialist service for children that assesses and advises on the management of communication and swallowing disorders and associated difficulties in a range of community and acute settings, children’s centres and schools.
Assessment, diagnosis and treatment planning are carried out by qualified speech and language therapists, supported by speech and language therapy assistants.
The service provides an early years 0-5 service and a school based service for 5 to 16 year olds.
