Iroko Theatre Creative Zone @ Space4ME Hub

We are working with IROKO Theatre Company to offer FREE workshops in African drumming and storytelling for Ages 11-16 years (SEND INCLUSIVE) Funded by the Safer Neighbourhood Board, the inclusive fun and inspirational project will enable participants to learn basic drumming techniques and rhythms. Workshops will involve using movement, dance, sounds, songs, and storytelling to create a short dance-drama piece that will be performed in front of families and friends.

*Participants aged 13 and above will receive IROKO & AIM Qualifications accredited award in ‘Communications and Expressive Skills Development Programme’.
*Younger participants will each receive an IROKO Certificate and Space4ME participation Certificate.
*20 Supported Spaces Available
*10 Supported to complete AIMS Qualification
