Child Development Service
The Child Development Centre is based at the West Ham Lane Health Centre. It is for the multidisciplinary assessment of children aged up to 18 with complex development difficulties or specialist educational needs. Services within the site are:
- Pediatricians
- Speech and Language Therapy (early years, schools and eating, drinking, swallowing)
- Occupational Therapy
- Physiotherapy
- Looked After Children.
As well as general specialist supports the services also provide child protection assessments, looked after children’s assessments and Education Health Care Plan (EHCP) assessments.
