Newham Basketball Academy
The NASSA schools programme provides extra-curricular basketball sessions for 2,000 school children aged 8-12 in 50 schools across Newham every week of the academic year.
Run as either a breakfast club, lunch club or an after-school club, each session incorporates NASSA’s award-winning Carry A Basketball Not A Blade (CABNAB) mentoring talks about knife crime.
Other programmes include working with young people to improve their academic achievement by supporting them to gain qualifications as coaches and referees.
