Mums Group
If someone close to you is diagnosed with a life-limiting or life-threatening condition or sadly dies, it can be a very difficult and lonely experience.
Even if you have many friends and a big family, it can sometimes feel as if no one understands what you are going through.
Mum’s group offers an opportunity to meet with other people in similar circumstances and talk about your thoughts and feelings in a supportive, non-judgemental environment. The feelings of isolation can be overcome by making new friends and building positive relationships.
The group meet up twice per month and provide time to chill or gain knowledge by learning a new skill or attending parent workshops. Some much needed pampering through massage or having afternoon tea can really refresh a mother and give some relief for a short time from the worries and anxieties that they hold every day.
